AN IDENTITY WORTH TALKING ABOUT

The Requejo brand itself is rich in history with founder Christian Requejo having Cuban roots and a Miami upbringing. He was passionate about bringing the culture of the two areas together in his brand and the identity we created for him. The result is a brand built from typography found in vintage Cuban street posters and colors found in the architecture paired with those rich Hispanic colors found in Miami.

 

Package Design

Creating the first wave of packaging design for the Requejo brand was a balance between satisfying our creative goals for the brands within the constraints of the labels the brand could get expedited… after all at the end of the day it was about getting the product out their to generate sales so we can keep doing what we do best - making great work for brands!

A SAMPLE IS WORTH A THOUSAND ADS

As with many new brands, you need to get your product in the hands of your audience. In the case of Requejo, we need to get the brand not only onto the shelves, but we needed to make it something that customers would keep picking up trip after trip to ensure it not only stayed in the stores but that it kept its shelf placement. That led us to the tried and true method of sampling in some anchor stores throughout the Miami area.

This brand like so many needed a social presence before they really had a brand out and about. We focused on creating a presence that brought to life the essence of the brand and the flavors and ingredients that make Requejo what Requejo is all about.
