Top Brass Farm Bed & Breakfast

A PREMIUM BED AND BREAKFAST ON A FARM IN NEW JERSEY.

Yup, you heard that right.

Need a quick background as to how we got here? When James Fairclough isn’t running family-owned, Fairclough Fuel Company, horses (and Top Brass Farm) are his passion. So much that he has been competing internationally as an FEI Four-in-Hand driver (horse and carriage) for the United States for over 30 years. Top Brass Farm, a 250+ acre farm located in Newton, New Jersey, opened up a bed and breakfast. Their main visitors are for their horse clients as well as anyone visiting Sussex County.

Fairclough Fuel started in his family in 1860. It is one of the largest distributors of coal, heating oil, diesel fuel, and gasoline from the Hudson to the Delaware. You guessed it {you probably didn’t} – their coal used to be delivered by horse and carriage in the early 1900’s. Horses and tradition play very large roles to this day in their company and life. Bringing the old traditions and the farm’s look and feel to the branding of their new bed and breakfast was important to them.

BRANDING THE BNB

We incorporated things like the crest they use on their horse carriages right down to images of the horses themselves. This bed and breakfast has an antique yet premium feel to it. We made sure to bring this to life where we could with hints of gold foil and leather. All of their collateral was printed on heavy card stock to help bring in that premium feel. While they make look premium, that doesn’t stop this crew from having FUN. So we wanted to make sure that their language on their pieces was welcoming and relaxed, not stiff.
